Abigael Mbagaya Mukolwe is a Land and Land Governance Expert in Kenya . She holds a Master of Urban Management (2008) and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi (1989), ISK Diploma in Valuation and Estate Management and is a Full Member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya. She is a Registered Valuer by the Valuers Registration Board under Cap 532.
She has over thirty two (32) years experience in Valuation and Property Management having previously worked with National Land Commission as its inaugural Vice Chairperson. She has also worked at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission as a Corruption Prevention Specialist (Land Sector) and many other Private Sector Firms in Kenya
She is a certified mediator and arbitrator and works as an Independent Consultant/Managing Director of Abigael Mbagaya & Associates. A firm Consulting on land matters ranging from valuations, land management, resettlement specialist, real estate matters, land fraud investigations and land dispute resolutions among others.
Abigael has done publications on: • Evaluations of public-private partnerships in service delivery, City of Nairobi; 2009. • Role of Foreign aid in the provision of water, a case study of Kenya Finland Company / Rural Water Supply Development Program (KEFINCO) She was also member and team leader in the publication of: • National Land Commission- 1st Commission End Term Report, 2013-2019. • The Lamu Report – Review of Grants and Dispositions of Public Land- Lamu Properties, November 2014
